This site has been designed to showcase motor racing of the ‘HQ’ Holden Category. ‘HQ’ Holden racing, as a registered CAMS (Confederation of Australian Motorsport) category, has now been racing for over 20 Years and still going strong. ‘HQ’ Racing is a heavily regulated category, designed to provide close racing and develop race craft at an affordable price. Car Specifications

The HQ class of racing, is a one make series based on the HQ Holden, 202, 3 speed, 4 door sedan with front disc brakes as produced by GMH between 1971 and 1974. The class has been designed to produce close racing at a minimum cost. 


Getting Started

Thinking About Racing HQs it’s… “affordable excitement!” It may be easy to drive a fast car quickly, but driving a nearly standard HQ Kingswood, complete with 3.3 Litre 6 cylinder and 3 speed manual, now that’s a challenge!
